Lubbock Sports Medicine is looking for an experienced and eager Medical Assistant. You will work alongside fellow Medical Assistants, Clinic Coordinators, Physician Assistants, and Doctors.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Insurance Authorizations (MRIs, injections, etc.)
Staple & Suture Removal
Answering & Returning Patient Phone Calls
Rooming Patients And Obtaining History & Vitals
Scheduling Appointments
Being The Liaison Between Patient & Provider
Education:
Allied Healthcare Professional is Preferred(Medical Assistant, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Athletic Trainer, etc.)
Work Experience:
Previous Work Experience In Healthcare is Preferred
Previous Work Experience In Orthopedics is Preferred
Skills:
Experience With EHR (Electronic Health Records) is Preferred
Bracing & Casting is Preferred
Drawing Injections is Preferred
Basic Computer Skills Required
Friendly and Willing to Learn
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM (Lunch from 12:00-1:00)
Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM
