Jordan Williams, PA-C, brings a unique blend of sports medicine and orthopedic experience to Lubbock Sports Medicine. In 2024, he graduated with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Iowa. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a Certified Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification.
He began his career as an athletic trainer, working closely with student-athletes to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries. Jordan spent a year as an internal athletic trainer for the Texas Tech Track and Field team, two summer internships with the Seattle Seahawks and seven years serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and strength coach at Kansas City Kansas Community College for their Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer and Baseball programs before pursuing his physician assistant degree to expand his ability to care for patients.
Jordan works closely with the physicians and advanced practice providers of Lubbock Sports Medicine in all aspects of patient care, including clinical evaluations, non-operative management of musculoskeletal problems, and sports injuries. He brings particular expertise in the care of athletes and active individuals, combining his background in athletic training with his physician assistant training to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
Jordan is a member of various professional organizations and remains committed to ongoing education in the latest advances in orthopedic and sports medicine. He works with Dr. Kevin Crawford and Stan Kotara, and is closely involved in all aspects of their patient’s care. Jordan sees patients in the office, assists in surgeries, and helps with other regular duties, including sports event coverage in the local community and education of student athletic trainers with the Texas Tech Master of Athletic Training Program.
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, exploring West Texas, camping, kayaking, reading, and taking their dog, Blanche, on adventures.
