Dr. Karl Pankratz

Dr. Karl Pankratz (call him Dr. P or Dr. KP if you like) has over 20 years of experience treating a wide range of bone and joint problems and sees patients of all ages. While he has expertise performing a number of surgeries, he has a special interest in robotic-assisted reconstruction of hips and knees. He combines timeless surgical principles with cutting-edge technology to give every patient the best opportunity for the best outcome. Only God can make a joint, and only He can heal one, but Kelli, Destinie, Tyler, and Dr. Pankratz constantly strive use their training and experience to be the best instruments in His hands.
Dr. Pankratz is board certified as an orthopaedic surgeon by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended medical school and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Texas Tech, including serving as a year as chief resident. He has been honored for his contributions to training young physicians at Texas Tech. He has also served the local medical community, including completing a term as president of the Lubbock County Medical Society. He is married and a father of 5. Dr. Pankratz appreciates the opportunity given him by God, country, and community to use his talents to serve those with pain and injury in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
