Destinie Stone, FNP

Destinie Stone joined Lubbock Sports Medicine in March 2023 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in general orthopedics, with Dr. Karl Pankratz.

She is a Lubbockite and a Coronado High School graduate. She received her undergraduate degree from South Plains College and her Diploma in Nursing from Covenant School of Nursing in 2011. In 2012, she was one of the first students to participate in the transition program from the Covenant School of Nursing Diploma program to the Lubbock Chrisitan University Bachelorette program. After completing her BSN, she worked full-time as a floor nurse in various departments for 10 years at Covenant Medical Center. In 2021, she earned her Master of Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021. She received her RNFA in 2024.

She works closely with Dr.Pankratz in the clinic taking care of a variety of orthopedic patients, assisting in surgery, and hospital rounds. Destinie focuses on establishing a strong relationship with each individual patient, ensuring trust when focusing on their treatment plan.

Her recent professional endeavors include pursuing a specialty certification in orthopedics.

She is an active member of the South Plains Nuse Practitioner Association. She also enjoys volunteering with The Lubbock Challengers for the past 10 years.

Destinie has two children, Kailey and Kaiden. They enjoy driving her crazy when she is not at work.
